Adirondack chairs on the lawn

I sat in an Adirondack chair on the expansive lawn after my kids finished playing on the playground. I opened the windows each day to pull cross ventilation through the cabin kitchen.

Late night access to the pool

I swam in the indoor pool at midnight since it stayed open twenty-four hours a day. My shuttle driver arrived at the terminal within ten minutes of my call at 1:30 am, made my late arrival at GEG much easier. I grabbed one of the sack breakfasts they prepared for early departures while I waited for the shuttle to take me back to the airport.

Direct walk to the terminal

I walked across the street from the rental car returns to reach the lobby in minutes. My room felt quiet even with the airport right outside, and I spread out in the spacious area before my flight. I grabbed a coffee and a muffin from the breakfast selection before I left, which the staff set out specifically for those of us with early morning departures.

Gilded Age curiosities inside the lobby

I wandered through the ballrooms to view the historical curiosities display throughout the building. During my visit, I grabbed a Huckleberry coffee cake from the on-site coffee shop before I relaxed in my suite with a dual-sided fireplace. I explored the historical architecture and finished my evening with a cocktail in the Peacock Lounge.

I listened to live jazz in the hotel restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights while I waited for my delivery in the lobby.
